We have an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer who will support the development of an Air Defense Environment architecture in Huntsville, AL. Relocation considered.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Integrated Project Teams (IPT) on overall activities required to support the OSD/SCO Director/Deputy.
- Develop and brief architecture products in support of the OSD/SCO Director/Deputy.
- Support planning and execution for demonstrating a Joint Tactical Integrated Fire Control (JTIFC) architecture for Air Defense.
- Coordinate technical requirements necessary to execute developed architecture with government, services and prime contractors.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test incorporating complex threat scenarios.
- Technical experience with one or more of the following:
- Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS)
- Army Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS)
- Navy Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC)
- Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) or Battle Control System – Fixed (BCS -F)
- Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine Corps radars and fire control networks
- Command, Control, Battle Management Communications (C2BMC), air defense, air battle management, and/or air base air defense
- Proven problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to brief DoD Senior Leadership
- Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
- Possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Secret Security Clearance – Active Secret required; TS/SCI preferred
- Ability to travel up to 20% both CONUS and OCONUS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math or Science and 10 years of related professional experience
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Math or Science preferred and 5 years of related professional experience
- Must be a US Citizen
